  2. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history and spent his entire career playing for the Cleveland Indians.
  3. Feller was known for his incredible fastball and was a seven-time All-Star during his career.
  4. He also won several awards including the American League pitching triple crown in 1940 and the Hickok Belt award in 1946.
  5. Despite missing three seasons of his prime to serve in World War II, Feller still managed to win over 260 games during his career and strike out over 2,500 batters.
  6. In addition to his success on the field, Feller was also known for his philanthropic work and dedication to serving his country.
